about

Bloom & Burn isn’t your usual florist.
We do things differently — wilder stems, looser rules, more feeling. It’s modern, inclusive, rooted in season and instinct—flowers for whoever wants them. Let’s create together.

Let’s bloom—and burn brightly

Hi, I’m graeme

I grew up just outside Belfast during the Troubles — not exactly the easiest time or place to be a dreamy, creative kid. Escaping into films and pop culture became my way out, and at 18 I moved to London to study film. That led to a 12-year career in TV, working as a casting producer on shows like The Voice and Celebrity Big Brother. Glamorous? Sometimes. Soulful? Not so much.

After my mum died, I knew I needed a change. Something real. I retrained as a florist — first at Judith Blacklock Flower School, then with the brilliant team at JamJar Flowers — and in 2016, Bloom & Burn was born.

These days, I’m based in Kent, growing flowers, making wild arrangements, and running workshops that help people slow down and reconnect with the natural world. I’ve worked with some brilliant people along the way—Jamie Oliver, National Geographic—but what matters most is that the work feels honest, joyful, and completely my own.

the studio

The Studio is where the rules fall away. A space for wild ideas, honest making and off-the-wall beauty — here, flowers are just the start.
